Window of opportunity

We had a mixed bag of a January here at McHale Sports. The transfer window is a strange animal and the chain-effect that flows from one transfer means that it is very difficult to predict what is going to happen.

For our Part we were delighted that Francois Zoko signed on with Stevenage until the end of the season and hopefully his great goals record will continue and Francois can fire the club to safety.  Our client Zoomana Bakayogo had a cruel month. The Leicester City player signed went out on loan to Yeovil Town to get some first team football and suffered a serious injury on his debut. We wish Zoom a speedy recovery. In the final week of the window we acted on the transfer of a striker from Everton to Hull City (Tigers?!) and on the very last day we travelled to Chelsea’s training ground at Cobham to act on the loan deal which took Gael Kakuta to Lazio. So a bit of everything really for our sports department.

We were close to helping a number of Spanish players make moves but we don't want to sound like the fisherman talking about the one that got away! We are looking forward to the Summer window already and are sure that the strength we have in languages (we have a Polish lawyer, a Russian Lawyer, a Spanish Lawyer as well as a French speaking consultant!) will put us in a good position to continue to develop our sports representation offering.
