McHale and Co Trainee, Adam Hattersley Re-Elected to the MTSG Committee

Congratulations to our second year Trainee, Adam Hattersley, who last night was re-elected to the Manchester Trainee Solicitors Group Committee (MTSG).

The MTSG is one of the largest and most active Trainee Solicitor groups in the country. They provide a range of events as well as maintaining various educational programmes and charity commitments for over 500 trainees and paralegals from firms of all types and sizes across the Greater Manchester area.

Adam who for the last year has been the Committee’s Social Secretary has been re-elected to the role of FELT (Firms with Eight or Less Trainees) Secretary.  This is a hugely important role, ensuring that the voices of smaller and boutique firms are heard within the committee.  It encompasses a lot of roles, from developing the committee to arranging socials for its members.

The Committee elections closed on Monday with the results announced at the end of year social event at Lock 91 on Deansgate Locks.  Adam who has was a dedicated committee member last year was delighted with the result and is looking forward to committing time and energy to ensure the MTSG goes from strength to strength next year.

Adam said “I am really happy at being re-elected onto the committee again this year.  The MTSG is a really exciting an active social group which supports and represents the young legal professionals in Manchester.”  He added “I have really enjoyed representing McHale and Co Solicitors as Social Secretary this year, arranging events for the 500 MTSG members, and I am looking forward to putting these skills to good use as the FELT secretary in the year ahead.”
