New Head of Crime and Regulatory work

We are delighted to announce that Roberto Lavorini has joined us to head up our private Crime and Regulatory department. Roberto graduated at the University of Essex and thereafter  at the College of Law in York, before returning to his home city of Manchester where he trained and qualified in a south Manchester  practice, rising up to the position of partner and specialising in Criminal Litigation.

After ten years in practice, Roberto changed career path and embarked on six years of teaching in the Primary sector, gaining an insight into the workings of the State Education system.

Roberto has decided to return to the law to take up his position with us and will build on our enviable reputation in the area of Criminal Law. He will deal with all manner of criminal matters including:-


  • Road traffic offences
  • Police Station attendance
  • Advocacy and representation at the magistrates’ courts.


He will also deal with defending Companies and individuals who face prosecution by Local Authorities, The HSE, The Environment Agency, HMRC etc.

Roberto lives in Stockport and is married with three children. When he is not watching his children play sport he enjoys going to the gym, following Manchester City and has recently re-kindled a passion for amateur dramatics as a member of the Sale Nomads Amateur Dramatics Society.
