The Apprentices have arrived

McHale & Co are delighted to welcome two new members of staff to the firm – Leonie Fletchman Brown and Tahmeena Masud as Paralegal apprentices

Leonie and Tahmeena are part of the groundbreaking new approach to professional training in the Legal Sector pioneered in the Manchester Region.  The Apprenticeships in Legal Services are a great new opportunity for those embarking on a career in law, to work while they learn.  As apprentices they will undertake on the job learning in the firm and be assessed in the workplace as well as completing more traditional learning in the classroom.

The scheme has been initiated by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, the first business organisation to successfully bid for legal skills funding through the Employer Ownership of Skills scheme. The training is operated by Manchester Law School (part of Manchester Metropolitan University) in conjunction the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
