A local man contacted our team following a toe injury caused by negligence in his workplace. He had stepped out of his cab after a long journey and stood on a sharp object in the workplace yard. The employer had failed to keep the yard free from dangerous obstacles and this object pierced the man's work boots, causing an injury to his toe that subsequently became infected.

The infection was so serious that it resulted in the amputation of a toe.

Despite difficulties proving the nail caused the client's injuries, we recently secured a settlement of £11,000.
