Personal Injury team wins golf course slip case for retired Manchester woman - £14,500

The McHale & Co Personal Injury team has helped to secure a woman £14,500 after she slipped on a golf course bridge.

Our Personal Injury team recently secured a win for a local woman who slipped on a bridge made of untreated reclaimed railway sleepers during a round of golf on a Cheshire Golf Course. The incident resulted in the woman breaking her ankle.

The case

Despite a tough legal argument on what amounted to reasonable care, the McHale & Co Personal Injury team were successful after trial at Manchester County Court, and secured settlement against the golf course owners in the sum of £14,500.

We were delighted to succeed in a slipping claim against a robust opponent and secure a just settlement for our client.
