More Than £700,000 Raised With Andrew McHale And Irish Association Golfers

McHale & Co Founder and Group Chairman Andrew McHale has completed another year with the Irish Association Golfers, during a landmark year in which the organisation’s total charitable fundraising passed £700,000.

The Irish Association Golfers has been bringing members of the golfing and business communities together through charity events since 1956. Its annual programme provides an opportunity for teams, sponsors and supporters to enjoy competitive golf while raising funds for organisations carrying out vital work across Greater Manchester and beyond.

More than £40,000 was raised through this year’s events, taking the organisation beyond the significant £700,000 milestone in total funds raised throughout its history.

Supporting local charities

The association supports a number of charities, including The Christie, Francis House Children’s Hospice, the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, Little Sisters of the Poor, Irish Community Care and Alzheimer’s Society. Their work spans cancer treatment and research, children’s hospice care, support for older people, community services, respite experiences and assistance for people affected by dementia.

McHale & Co has been a longstanding supporter of the charity days and was pleased to enter a team once again this year. Andrew’s participation – and captaincy during the previous season – provided an opportunity for the firm to strengthen that support and play a more active role throughout the 2025/26 programme.

The achievement reflects the commitment of everyone involved, including the organisers, committee members, sponsors, participating teams and supporters who continue to make the events such a success.
