Malcolm, one of our senior personal injury solicitors, recently acted for a client who was injured whilst working as a security guard on a site. He was taking a break in a portacabin when the chair he was sat on snapped, causing him a back injury.
The chair was not actually owned by our clients direct employers however we were successful in securing compensation from them as they remained ultimately responsible for our clients welfare.
The claim settled a month before trial.
McHale and Co are an APIL accredited Practice (Association of Personal Injury Solicitors) which means we are recognised for excellence. Malcolm is a fellow of APIL of which there are less than 200 nationally.
