Charlotte is a Senior Associate in McHale & Co’s Private Client team, specialising in estate planning, Wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney. With a calm, clear, and compassionate approach, she advises a wide range of clients including high-net-worth individuals, international families, and those with complex personal or financial circumstances.
Charlotte has particular expertise in cross-border estate planning, regularly advising clients with assets and family connections in multiple jurisdictions. She is known for her ability to simplify complex inheritance tax issues and for crafting bespoke solutions that reflect each client’s unique goals and values.
Her work often involves:
- Drafting tax-efficient Wills and trusts
- Advising on inheritance tax reliefs including the Nil Rate Band and Residence Nil Rate Band
- Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Supporting attorneys and executors with estate administration
- Advising on domicile and international succession planning
Charlotte is highly regarded for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to build long-term relationships with clients and their advisers. She works closely with financial planners, accountants, and overseas lawyers to ensure joined-up advice.
