Richard joined McHale & Co in 2025 as Project Manager in our Private Client department. With over a decade of experience in this field, he’s passionate about providing clients with ‘Peace of Mind’ – whether that’s drafting their first Will, managing the complexities following the loss of a loved one, or anything in between.

Richard now enjoys the rare opportunity to balance two of his passions: advising clients and enhancing processes. With a solid business background, he’s focused on streamlining our systems to improve both the efficiency of our team and the experience of our clients.

Outside of work, Richard’s interests are wide-ranging. Though a Yorkshireman at heart (and admittedly a tad too vocal in his support of Leeds United, especially in Manchester), he’s equally at home enjoying time with family in Altrincham or Leeds. A fan of good food (perhaps a little too much), history, reading and travelling, and he still clings to the dream of opening the batting for Yorkshire, despite his age and dodgy knees!
