Roberto Lavorini
Solicitor, COLP
Roberto qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and worked in a local High Street practice in Manchester where he worked predominantly in Criminal Litigation.
Following a hiatus and career-change as a Primary School teacher, Roberto returned to legal practice, joining McHale & Co in 2015 where barring a nine-month stint with the CPS, he has remained since. Roberto is part of the firm’s Litigation Department, conducting both Civil and Criminal Litigation and has recently been appointed as the firm’s COLP (Compliance Officer for Legal Practice)
Roberto handles all manner of Criminal Litigation enquiries and has represented both individuals and businesses for police and regulatory prosecutions. This could involve attendance for interview under caution at the investigatory stage or representation at the Magistrates’ Court and instructing Counsel in respect of matters which proceed to the Crown Court.
Roberto also conducts a variety of Litigation matters, including Landlord & Tenant cases, Wills and Probate disputes, contract claims, Building disputes and cease and desist notices.
Outside of work, Roberto is a member of the Sale Nomads Amateur Theatre Club and also enjoys reading, going to the gym and attending the theatre.
