Slip at Work – client awarded over £15,000

Adam Horner recently afternoon for a gentleman who slipped at work on a wet floor. The Defendant insurer denied liability stating that the client must have been aware of the wet floor and should have taken greater care. The injuries were a knee injury which may require surgery in the future.

The defendants made an offer of £10,000 after court proceedings were issued which the client wanted to accept but Adam asked the client to hold hold as he knew the claim was worth more.

3 months after the offer was rejected we obtained an award of over £15,000 for the client prior to the court trial.
