Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band

Here at McHale & Co. we are proud to support the Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band, which was founded in 1948 making it the oldest active Irish pipe band in the North West.
The band are well-known in the local area, taking part in community events and parades, and raising money for numerous charities, including Wythenshawe Hospital League of Friends, St. Ann’s Hospice, The Rainbow Trust (Francis House). They are extremely proud of its Anglo-Irish heritage and what makes it quite unique; a pinch of English, a touch of Irish and an instrument most widely recognised as Scottish.
Recently the band were proud to host United Pipers for Peace Manchester 2022 which took place on 17th and 18th of September, involving 20 Pipe Bands from all over the world assembling to remember all the victims of all conflicts, past and present.
400 musicians took part in a Grand Parade and performed across 10 City Centre venues it what was a fantastic weekend!
